Bouvet Ladubay in St Hilaire St Florent on the outskirts of Saumur. One of our favourite visits as some of the wines produced here come from grapes that are grown around La Grande Maison. The winery buys the grapes in from around 70 different producers and creates fine and reliable white, rose, red, oaked and un-oaked sparklikng wines by the Methode Traditionelle. The tour of the caves and of the working cellar should not be missed on a visit to Saumur.
Domaine de la Gloriette - a local Le Puy Notre Dame sparkling producer who used to produce champagne in Champagne so we reckon they know a thing or two about bubbles!
